Google Nest Mini to be launched in India

Alongside the launch of Google Pixel 4 in October, Google launched its new Google Nest Mini in India. Google Nest Mini is a smart speaker which supports the google assistant feature faster, has been launched for Rs. 4,499 in India.

The Nest Mini has arrived as an updated version of the Google Home Mini. It has been designed in the same soft rounded edge the way Google Home Mini had been designed along with the wall mounting support which remains a constant in both.

The newest smart speaker comes with a new power connector port and a cable. The custom machine learning chip which comes with it improves the bass quality. A proprietary software has also been used which further assists in enhancing the output of the audio.

Available in two colours-Charcoal and Chalk, the Nest Mini features a slider for turning the microphone on/off exactly like the Home Mini. The new smart speaker supports several music streaming platforms such as Spotify, YouTube Music, Gaana, Wynk Music, JioSaavn, etc. In order to enjoy a surround sound system user can also pair multiple Nest devices.

Google nest Mini has got a unique feature which has leveraged the IoT-Internet of Things, through which a user gets to connect and control its home appliances with just an audio command. Google reportedly now claims that it has developed the technology in a way so that the control of home appliances will be done even better.

According to statements made by the tech giants, the device will be equipped with a default feature which would adjust its volume according to the noise in the surrounding. For instance, if a user asks a question while the washing machine is running in the background, the device will supposedly respond in a louder volume.

Further the company has claimed that the fabric used on the device is purely made up of recycled plastic bottles. In order to provide with a better music, experience the company has given much focus on to the bass of the speaker.The New Nest Mini has been designed to provide bass twice as strong as Google Home Mini (measured from 60-100 Hz at max volume).

In fact, the stream transfer feature has also been built in the device wherein a user can switch from one speaker to another with just a voice command. The company has reportedly claimed that the google assistant feature would work faster on Nest Mini since it is Google’s new Smart Speaker.
