- What are the significant strides that Seqrite has taken over the last 24 months?
Constant innovation is at the core of Seqrite which is backed by Quick Heal’s 25-year legacy as a domain-leading provider of cybersecurity products and solutions. This is why, over the course of the last 24 months, we have introduced several new products and features aimed at addressing the evolving IT security requirements of today’s enterprises. The launch of these newer solutions has further augmented and enhanced our state-of-the-art cybersecurity capabilities. We have one of the widest portfolio of enterprise security solutions which includes Endpoint Security, Network Security and Data Protection Solutions.
AI-powered threat detection and prevention
We have recently launched GoDeep.AI, a predictive AI-based threat hunting engine developed indigenously by our state-of-the-art R&D division. GoDeep.AI powers all the security solutions offered under Seqrite and leverages AI, big data analytics, and cloud computing to proactively identify and hunt down potential cyber threats. This includes signature-less attacks, which are becoming popular amongst cybercriminals off late due to their ability to trick conventional, signature-based threat detection mechanisms.
Unparalleled data protection through Data Encryption and Data Loss Prevention
With data emerging as the new gold within the global enterprise ecosystem, we identified an urgent need to protect critical business data from leakage and unauthorized access. To this end, we have launched solutions such as Seqrite Encryption Manager (SEM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). These solutions leverage strong encryption capabilities to protect critical business data at all times – at storage, during usage, or in transit – independently of any other security solution that might have been deployed.
Secure web browsing for enterprise users
We also launched Secure Web Gateway, an intuitive enterprise security solution that filters out unwanted software and malware from web and internet traffic initiated on. It helps IT managers simplify the enforcement and management of corporate and regulatory policies, thus achieving seamless compliance and turning the web from a risk-led to a secure environment.
Mobile Device Management
Seqrite mSuite enables organisations to manage the usage of connected mobile devices by defining device policies and restrictions, as well as enabling granular data/app management. Enterprises can also track data usage on connected devices, allowing them to identify how their employees use company-issued devices, map their productivity on mobile during office hours, and control app/user access to enterprise networks and data.
- What is your go-to-market security blueprint?
The go-to-market strategy for Seqrite draws on strong on-field presence of our partners and our in-house sales & marketing and support team. This enables Seqrite to provide the best on-site sales and customer support to enterprise customers.
We also augment our channel strategy with regular CXO meets. This is important, as the global cybersecurity ecosystem, as well as the threat landscape, is evolving at an extremely rapid pace. Through these events, we educate key enterprise decision-makers about emerging trends, threats, and solutions within the cybersecurity space – and how Seqrite’s range of AI-powered security offerings can help them counter the growing security challenge.
Moreover, in order to ensure top-of-the-mind recall, we periodically launch brand campaigns. Through such campaigns, we raise awareness about the need for robust cybersecurity and are able to increase our mindshare in the enterprise segment.
- What is the real playground for Seqrite as many of the CISOs opt for ‘best of breed’ vendors like Symantec for their endpoint security as an example?
All the products offered by Seqrite provide one of the best threat intelligence in India, at present. Our dedicated R&D division, Quick Heal Security Labs, collects and analyses threat data fetched from over 9 million endpoints and is the leading source of threat research, threat intelligence, and cybersecurity. This information arms our customers with cutting-edge security threat research and cyber intelligence, in addition to delivering enhanced and timely protection against existing and future cyber threats.
- Do you have some specific security solutions for the Healthcare industry?
Most of our existing array of solutions can be customised for the specific requirements of the healthcare industry. For instance, solutions such as Endpoint Security (EPS) and EMM can be used to secure laptops, desktops, and mobile devices, while network security solutions such as Unified Threat Management (UTM) and SWG can be used to block threats at the network level. More importantly, with Seqrite Encryption Manager, we can block unauthorized access to critical patient data residing on endpoints.
- What are your focus areas for Quick Heal Security over the next 12-18 months?
From a product perspective, we are looking to enhance and expand our existing portfolio of security offerings with products like Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR). We will follow it up with the deployment of XDR solutions which will cover a much broader range of use-cases. Moreover, we are aiming to offer customised security products to organisations across multiple industries, as well as to explore cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
We plan to strengthen our enterprise channel network in order to penetrate deeper into our target markets and to better cater to the demand for state-of-the-art enterprise security solutions. We are also targeting deeper inroads into the data protection space with products like Encryption and DLP especially in the current regulatory environment around data privacy both in India and on a Global level.
