MAIT, the apex body representing India’s IT hardware, training and R&D service sectors will organize ‘National Conference on Government Procurement in Information Age’ on December 07th in New Delhi. The event will focus on issues in Government IT Procurement, Model RFPs 2.0, Government e-Marketplace and Innovation in IT Procurement. The event will specifically cater to the needs of Public Sector Heads, Government Relation Heads and CFOs of companies working in Government IT Business. It will give attendees an opportunity to be on the same platform as key Government decision-makers in procurement practices in the country.
The event will be inaugurated by Shri Ajay Prakash Sawhney, Secretary, MeitY. Ms. Neeta Verma, Director General, NIC & Ms. S Radha Chauhan, CEO, GeM will be the guest of honor at the event. Shri Harish Krishnan, Vice President, MAIT will deliver the welcome address & Shri Ambrish Bakaya, Director, Corporate Affairs, HPE will deliver the vote of thanks.
The event will see a number of panel sessions discussing a wide variety of issues pertaining to IT Procurement & Innovation in Procurement.
The speakers will emphasize on the need to overhaul legacy ICT procurement practices, identify susceptibilities and review processes to make them more impactful and efficient. They will also advocate why ICT procurement is important for the overall development of the State.
