Canon India Pvt Ltd, Complete Digital Imaging Company, has announced the first edition of an exclusive knowledge forum series ‘GYAN SHIKSHA’ for Canon Empowered Partners and Corporate Resellers in India. GYAN SHIKSHA is an effort to further deepen Canon India’s engagement with its corporate partners through comprehensive sessions exclusively based on application-technology solutions. The program will also focus on Canon India’s multifunction printers, specifically in the mid and high end range.
Beginning with 10 programs in November and December this year with 250 enterprise partners, Canon will further conduct 25 such programs in the first quarter of 2014. Speaking on the occasion, Mohammed Nasir, Senior Manager, Marketing – CSP Division, Canon India, says, “Canon’s footprint in the technology domain is very high and we attribute this success to a large extent to our partners. We have always believed that partner establishments in a highly service-oriented industry like ours are very crucial. Thus, in order to further strengthen our engagement with partners, especially the corporate resellers and our OIS partners, we are organizing the first knowledge forum series GYAN SHIKSHA. This will also help us in achieving our target of doubling revenues from the mid and high end range printers to INR 50 crore in 2014 from INR 25 crore revenues presently.”
GYAN SHIKSHA will focus on both the technology offerings like MEAP, Networking Solutions, Apple Air Print, Google Cloud etc. and the customer application and product offerings. The key mid and high end printer models covered under the program include LBP 6200D, MF 4870DN, MF 4820D, MF 4750, LBP 7018C and LBP 9100CDN.
